Hmm...dun realli know to start...guess I havn't written for too long...
Y is this post entitled first...well...I have certainly experience many things for the veri first time this holiday...
First...

- 3 months holiday from my 1st yr of study in NUS

Finally, its holiday!!! No more programming(for the moment)..yay!!! 3 months is kind of long...dats y i'm trying to look for job..I guess the economy is really bad..its kind of tough to find a decent job as compare to last yr...tried sending resumes to many recruitment agencies..but din realli get any replies yet...even signed up as student helper for NUS commencement 2009..lol..desperate..:p...finding a job nowadays isn't dat ez after all...

Since I'm jobless and "schooless"...been slacking/rotting at home...so borrring..end up watching anime(shugo chara..cute..but childish..watever.i simply luv anime...), drama(absolute boyfriend: night is so cute, cinderalla man: kind of funni..pls subbed asap...can't wait for the nxt episode...thinking of watching zhu guang bao qi(HK serial..80 plus episode..shd be able to finish watching within 4 days..if i dun slp..wahaha), Heroes season 3, Nodame cantabile..so many drama to watch..

If I can't find job, I'll just use these time to learn jap or take driving lesson(my dad wants me to learn auto coz its easier for me to pass..I dunno...manual or auto..argh!!!)...

- birthday celebration with my uni frens
Had my early birthday celebration wif them..haha... went to amk for lunch..shop for clothes..den went bugis to shop for my birthday pressie..^^...yes!!free sch bag!!! Took a ride on a lonnnnnggggg escalator..went frm 1st lvl to 4th lvl..

- an unforgettable, yet unforgiving birthday celebration from U(yes,u!yz,sh & fy..)

Never in my life did I expect them to do this to me...ARGH!!!!!!!...CCCREEEAAAMMM on face...WAT THE HECK!!!!! @%$^&&*()%%$$#$%@##$.... Initially, I thought why do they suggest to go pasir ris park at the first plcae...I mean there isn't much thing u can do there.... I end up goin all the way to pasir ris park to get hit by cream....what a ridiculous "ingenious" plan...I had cream on face, hair shirt and pant..though they did bring me extra clothes to change..they have forgotten to bring shampoo... I end up smelling like baby vomit(sour milky taste...OMG)... Funni thing is.. fy(din do the dirty job of smashing..but took video instead...aso EVIL) simply stand there n let me smash cream back onto her face..n that 2 sneaky rascal(who smash melted cream on me) simply ran away...u can run but u cannot hide..I'll have my revenge...WAHAHAHA...next victim YZ(the mastermind of the whole evil plan.....u have been warned!!!) Don't ever mess wif me....

After dat we went party world..(a tiring journey reaching there...walked frm clarke quay to chinatown...lesson learnt: pls call them to check whether there is room available)..

It is indeed a unforgettable n unforgivable 20th birthday celebration(haiz...old le....)..............

- bowling..my arm arches..

Had my first bowling ytd...pretty fun but can get kind of tiring after a few rounds...well I guess I had to go for more weight training first...haha... Was pretty amazed to hit 9 pins down with my verriii first ball...haha...but subsequent rounds arn't that lucky anymore..:P

O.O what a long-winded entry...guess i'll juz stop for today..

Awakening

The "highly anticipated" blog entry is finally here...been hibernating for too long le...*claps*..dotz...ignore this line...haha...

Yup...exams are over ...that means my final term exam is COMING SOON..argh!!! I think i've done veri badly for my mid-term...haiz...realli hav to work harder for my final term...(no more last minute revision...reality check: last minutes revision is meant for smart ppl..unfortunately I don't fell under that category...><..so I hav to work EXTRA hard..haiz..stress...@@)

Anyway...rite after my mid-term..been veri veri bz with report...hav to do 2 reports..2000 words each...(1 is for my SS..gender discrimnation...y are the status of women relative to men's...inequality...when will women reach the same status as men...haiz...)...took me 2 days to complete...*HATE* report..otherwise could hav gone out with fy n yz and hav time to do my lab(stupid programme..headache) ...>.<...

ICE CREAM!!!

Ytd had been a long day...(actualli not...)
My sch started at 2pm n ended at 3.30pm..(took 1 hr to travel to nus n the lesson oni lasted for 1.5 hrs)...after dat went to have rami burger wif my fren(nv tried rami burger b4..taste nice but had to wait so long...sian...haha)

After that went to bv to meet fy...haha..her kk dun wanna accompani her to IBN(for yrp award presentation ceremony...fy was nominated for the Promising Young Researcher Award 2008...wohoo...congratz)...so I accompani her instead(wat r best fren for...not like dat kk...haha)

Anyway its a petty fy din win the award(coz she din present her work to the director..aiyo..otherwise she could hav won...wat a petty...but its already veri gd to be selected as a nominee out of the hundreds who went who intern at IBN)

The whole ceremony was quite long...kind of boring when the awardees presnted their project(dun realli understand wat they were saying...in the end the ceremony ended at 8pm(when the initial timing was 7pm to have buffet dinner)... was the first time n last time to IBN so took some photos...haha

We din stay for the buffet...went The Central to have dinner instead(well..fy was kind of disappointed..so was suggesting to eat sth nice) We had our dinner in a jap restaruant..food was quite nice...then we had ice cream(melon flavoured...quite nice..but veri exp...but its fy who treated me the ice cream so it doesn't matter..haha..din manage to take a photo of the ice cream..coz my hp went out of batt...but manage to took some photo of the main course we ate..muhaha...too bad yz n sh din hav the chance to taste it...perharp some other days ba..lol..)

This is my first entry in 2009...
Well...made some changes to the blog...(obivously)
Going to sch reopen soon...sianx...so fast...
Holiday is coming to an end...was a fun/slacking one...
Been to quite a number of places in s'pore this holiday...zoo?!(lol)...hort park(tiring..but fun)...mani shopping malls(especially ps...so boring)...kboxing(fun..but kind of short)
Watched some movies...bolt(nice one)...twilight(male lead is cute..but story is kind of boring...believe the book version shd be a better one...bedtime story(well..quite okay but not as gd as I've expected)
Finally watched 命中注定我爱你(pretty nice...but does get a little draggy)...
Finished watching ouran high school...hopefully there will be a 2nd season..
Now watching skip beat!..series not completed yet...><..

My New Year Resolution...
Do well for 2nd & 3rd Sem
Gain weight(as usual)
Travel to taiwan/aus
Wallet to be filled wif lots of money(haha..)

Have been a long time since I update...been quite dead...literally dead...(struggling wif my sch work...damn...killer module..)

Past few weeks...veri veri bz...esp this week...got quiz..assignment to hand in...presentation(not well prepared)...tutorial to complete...den aso nid to help celebrate my dad birthday(haha...the crab i hav for dinner is soooo bigg...haha)...nxt week still hav an essay assignment to hand in..haiz...

My quiz suck...can't even do te first qs...sob...haiz...going to treat dis as a lesson...(not to mug last minute for the paper)...saw the ans for the quiz...mani of my ans are wrong...haiz...but one thing is for sure i wun get zero marks for the quiz...haha...muz make sure i do better in the upcoming quiz...

Yz start her intern...and fy is goin to end her intern soon...lol...went sch wif them ytd...i was late(as usual..haha...but luckily din cause yz to miss her bus..:P...den hav lunch wif fy in the afternoon...ate a sucky plate of curry rice...dun buy frm the stall "Aunt XXXX"..haha....

Now...mugging?? Obviously not...otherwise u wun see this entry now..haha...juz finish watching project runway ep 9...haha...den realise that there is project runway australia...lol..i wish there is project runway singapore..hehe...den qc can go participate...

How is sch? Well...been attending lec for the past few days...so boring...dun realli understand what the lecturer was toking about....(been daydreaming during lec :P)...

Uni live is so different...

Dun hav fix time table...we get to choose the various slots of lec n module we wanna attend...nobody is going to bother about what you r goin to study for the sem or even whether you are attending the lec...we dun have "form teacher" to mark ur attendance anymore(except during tutorial...which i'm goin to attend tml..sian)...Toking about tutorial..been racking my brain past few days to choose the various tutorial slots for balloting..so ma fan...
Dunnid to wake up early in the morning everyday to rush to sch which normally starts at 7.25am...actualli i kind of miss that...haha....
No more sch uniform...feel kind of wierd not goin to sch without uniforms...den hav to think of what to wear to sch everyday..which is so troublesome....
No fix clsses...dat means every tutorial u go u will meet diff ppl...dats y its better u hav a fren to accompani u for various tutorials...otherwise its kind of lonely...
Dun thnk uni is goin to be veri slack...everybody is vei motivated to study...n mani r aiming for CAPS of 5...which is getting A's for every single test....n lecturers arn't goin to spoon feed you anymore...hav to do alot of readings/researching by urself...sigh....hav to work extra hard now....(kind of broke now...esp buying all the txt for each modules...)

Lol...I shall elaborated on what fy has pointed out....Well...It has been a veri bz week for me...

Last Fri...start of my orienatation...din realli know what to expect...coz our ogl aso dunno what is goin on...the committee is so secretive...we played games in the morning..attended some talks...play games again(well...all veri intellectual ones...which can be kind of boring...but at least they are not as crazi as those from biz...haha)...slpt at 4 plus...the floor is rrreallli hard...my body was aching...damn painful la....

Sat...woke up early in the morning...din realli slpt well...(i miss my bed)...played games again..but this time round we r supposed to find the various "landmark" in the photo given to us...den we have to take "creative" photo wif the "landmark"...(will upload the photo asap...to illustrate what i mean by creative...haha)...went home early...coz really tire...

Mon...went there early in the morning...attended the inarguration ceremony...(ask us to come so early...then still hav to wait till 10 b4 we can go in...pissed)...wore formal wear(fy..thanks for ur pants...haha)...after dat was talks n more talks...boring....after talks was the secret pal game...every1 was paired u wif sum1 of diff gender...was "suppose" to noe ppl frm other grp...(ya rite...more like a match-making game...esp true for 1 of my og mate...haha...

Argh!!!!!...A week later I'll be going to school...nervous breakdown....I'm freakingly nervous about going to school..totally not excited at all... school reopen = nervous>>>>>excited....Been veri confuse with the module bidding system...frustrating...hopefully I'll be enlightened by the talk given by SoC tml...A veri loooonnng day tml...will be there frm 9 to 6.....

Talkig about going back to nus....went there on fri...well... for registration...freakingly long quene...shd allocate more time for SoC registration...was there veri early...about 10?...although my registration start at 3...haha...wanted to explore the school wif my fren...but din hav the chance to do so...however I was glad...manage to meet new frens from biz n SoC...kind of unexpected...haha...was thinking of joining some cca...probably those that allow me to organise events....or the anime club(but i wun cosplay...haha)

Well...for the past few days/weeks...been slacking at home...scrapbooking..(muz get the photo printed out by tml)...went chalet...toking about chalet it piss me off...damn exp...$26 for a bbq..i oni ate some chicken wings n seafood...its not as if lobster is served....I rather spend the money on buffet...><

What I have been doing the past few days..
Well nth special...

Been reading up my primary schol grammer book...luckily I never throw it away...knew it will come in handy "someday"...oh ya...have to watch my grammer from now on...( Do you know that after "would/should" is always followed by the infinitive..what is the infinitive?...the infinitive does not change its form and it is always used in the simple present form....haha...it took me 8 years since my primary 5 to know about it...sob)
Last Sat...met up with my primary sch fren...it has been about 2 yrs since we met each other..initially..want to go for a shopping spree for clothes...in the end we end up buying delicious biscuit from marks & spencer...realli nice..shd try it...haha... we walked all the way from somerset to orchard mrt..pro sia...but was realli fun..been toking non stop...(wat can u expect from 2 gals who have nv met each for 2 yrs...haha)

Have read up Times today...was really shocking to know that "diarrhea kills more young children around the world than malaria, AIDS and TB combine"(adapted from Times, Andrea Cerlin, 16 th October 2006)...all they require is some salt, sugar and a jar of water to save their lives....so simple and inexpensive yet not widely used...before we complain how life sucks...think about how fortunate we are...

This is my first entry...well... was trying to figure out the HTML code...so my blog isn't quite complete yet...will try to add more stuff into my blog tml...provided I have finish packing my room...
So tire...nid to slp...went out the whole afternoon todae...my first day of holiday(ytd was my last day of work...haha...my dad was nagging bout me for leaving the compani so early..watever...was so tire so working...realli nid to rest...)...went nus wif my fren today...nus is so big...was so lost todae...realli nid to re-visit it again b4 the sch re-open..otherwise i may be spending the first day of sch exploring the sch instead of goin lec....isn't totally excited bout the sch re-opening...lazi me...:P
